Traveling in areas such as the Southern Andes, the Karst landscapes of mid-western Ireland, the Swiss Alps and the South-Western deserts of the United States allowed me to make sense of diverse geographic phenomena and associated environmental processes. This awareness of terrain and mountain formation gave me an acute and implicit comprehension of the causes and consequences of some of the most pressing concerns societies face today, such as climate change and resource depletion. The knowledge and training gained in Biology and Physical Sciences prepared me for a career in physical geography. My certificates in GIS and Digital Media with courses focusing on music production/composition, data layering and visualization ensured I acquired creative & critical thinking skills, and rigour when manipulating datasets at the cross-section of the academic community.
